Wayne: How did you became a model?
Toni: 2 years ago i got scouted on the streets in Germany. From my current booker
. So this year in june i went to NY for the first time and lived there alone like 1 month.
W: The first time NY and you live alone?
T: Its ok cause i got used to it. I grew up in many diffrent countries and my parents werent so strict with my education. Im 16 now but because of the work of my father, i lived in London at the age of 2 utill i was 6. At the age of 7 we moved to Athens and i went to an International School. Our retourn to Hamburg (germany) was 6 years ago.
W: So did you know about your role in the Calvin Klein show when you came to NY?
T: No, first i had castings. 'what do you think about fashion(industry)? Do you think you can get along with it?' they asked me. ' I really love fashion but because of the school i cant work fulltime.' I answered and then they recommend me to do modelling as aparttime job with works in there only i have the main role(?). After that i had fittings the whole 1 week .
W: So you also didnt know opening the show?
T: Of course I didnt know. Every day from morning till evening it was just fitting. At the day before the show, i think it was like 9pm, it was shown on the board. I never walked for a real show before and i was the first look!! i thought i would keel over but i didnt. I walked 2 shows but i only calmed down when everything was over. I felt soo happy!
W: Then talking about the campaign girl was after that?
T: backstage i heard the caster LEMMY(?) and Pat McGrath talking. I heard how she screamed 'thats not true, isnt it??! (positive, surprised meaning) On the way back in the car i got the call. It really took my breath away! it was already incredible to open the show! My mother, who was with me, was very proud of me. I think it was good to be with her, cause she was the one who pushed me to think that modelling could be sth cool. I never thought that a holiday job could be so important to me.
W: so what did do you before modelling?
T: i did babysitting. I looked after children of4 families. i really love babysitting so its a bit sad that i cant do it anymore. i also play tennis. and im a bigbigbig fan of JOSS STONE.
W: a supermodel from germany would be Claudia Schiffer. What do you think about her?
T: Mny people are saying that my voice sounds like hers.
W: So now your face gonna be on the billboards all over the world, what do you feel about that?
T: its the collection line and not the jeans line so i think there arent billboards... . But when that happens i gonna tke photos of them with my own camera. Otherwise my friends want believe me! (haha lollol:
