i've thought that she is a lovely girl, which she is. the photos from calvin klein re-confirm this to me...but now i have two reasons to like her more - that she could identify an icon (whose beauty and style has pervaded decades in her industry and still influences current fashion) shows that toni has exceptional taste, but great appreciation to generations past. additionally that she says she pushes herself to think of others - truly an admirable quality. with respect to the cellphone :p i can totally relate...

The buzz for Toni Garrn, the Hamburg-born beauty who was signed for not one, but two exclusive runway seasons at Calvin Klein, is really starting to build—she's been snapped by both Marios—Testino and Sorrenti—as well as by supermodel-maker Steven Meisel.) Still, following in the footsteps of Natalia Vodianova means this 16-year-old (who's currently enrolled in school and continues to live with her parents) has some pretty big shoes to fill. "I never really thought about modeling before," Garrn, who was discovered on the street, told us when we checked in with her recently. "But I decided to try it out. So far everything has turned out well, so let's see where it leads." Nonchalance can be a plus in this industry, but Garrn does have a general idea of what she's dealing with (see also: Kate Moss and Christy Turlington). "It would be great to follow such amazing models. I have been looking back at all the old campaign images—and I just cannot believe that I am in the campaign now! I would be happy to have even half the success of those other superstars."

^ i got excited for a minute after reading shot by meisel, but they must of been talking about her february vogue italia spread.

Did we see her work with Testino yet? I can't recall.

^ wasn't it sorrenti for both V & W? i don't think we've seen testino's yet

What a cute interview at the CK website! :crush: She said that she loves shopping, 'just like any normal teenage girl'! How adorable.

^ well she does have ck jeans, obviously not the same as collection, but at least it's something i guess.

mhm I want to see new stuff because I think she won't be shooting much the next time, many test and ZKs :ninja: (at least if she is in 10th grade which I assume) and I feel with her because I have to do the same in a month
