Toni Garrn

So here's the translation of the interview, sorry for mistakes

At the beginning, the presenter, Stefan Raab, introduces her:
"She's only sixteen years old and already unbelievable successful, belongs to the worldwide topmodels. Sixteen years old and already in the new Calvin Klein Camapgne, the new...do you say elitemodel ? I don't know, I'll ask her.
Please welcome Toni Garrn."

Stefan: Welcome !
Toni: Thank you !
Stefan (surprised): How tall are you actually ?
Toni: That's not me, that are the shoes, but Im already quite tall as well, 1,80m (5.9 feet).
Stefan: 1.80m...you're only sixteen years old.
Toni: Yes that's right.
Stefan: That means youre still growing.
Toni: Yeah maybe.
Stefan. Maybe.
Toni: Possible.
Stefan: Is there something like a limit for models, that one says from 2,30m (7.54 feet) it doesn't look good anymore ?
Toni: Not that I knew, I don't think so but I hope it (the growing) stops now/is enough.
Stefan: You were discovered at a "Public Viewing Event" at the Football World Championship in Hamburg, some agent passed you and said "it's you" ?!
Toni: Yeah it was during the World Championship, there was a runway show at the Jungfernstieg (shopping mile in Hamburg), and I've been there with my friends and then a booker from Hamburg came towards me and asked me whether I would like to be a model or whether I am.
Stefan: And then, what did you say ?
Toni: And then I said "No, I'm not" and I never wanted to be a model or never thought I could do that, and then she (the booker) asked me whether I could come to the agency, and that's what I did and then everything started.
Stefan: And you're already very successful, we got pictures of you, that's the current Calvin Klein Campagne (shows pictures)
Toni: Hm yeah.
Stefan: One can see you there....yeah thats awesome...I mean are they worldwide, these pictures of you ?
Toni: Yeah thats worldwide.
Stefan: Well thats no unimportant job, Im sure a lot of girls are fighting for this.
Toni: Yeah I didn't know that in the beginning, my agency in NY told me that I got it and I also didn't know how big it was, but now at the latest when its always at the beginning of the magazines I perceive it, but I actually didn't know how big it was
Stefan: What it's like when youre in this business with only sixteen years, if you're en route, do your parents travel with you ?
Toni: No I'm always on my own
Stefan: No !
Toni: Yes, I like it more like that, my parents have to work... (people laughing) ..and I don't mind it.
Stefan: Yes alright... And youre not scared that some guy comes along and says...(shows the clip)
Toni (grints): No.
Stefan: No you're not scared of it.
Toni: No I already travelled a lot when I was younger, I've already lived in Athens and London with my parents, hence I find it better alone.
Stefan: Oh ok. That means...do you actually still have time for school ?
Toni: Yes Im still a very normal school-girl, go to school and now and then when I have to be absent in school I got to go somewhere for a job, but I try to reschedule it for the weekends or holidays.
Stefan: And what it's like when youre doing such a job, do you take school stuff with you and learn en route, on the plane ? I mean, how long does it take if such a campaign is shot, then youre away for two weeks...?!
Toni: Well yeah, this campaign was five days, but normally its like two days and sometimes I take school stuff with me but most of the time Im rather absent in the holidays.
Stefan: Yeah. Do you watch something like Germanys next Top Model ?
Toni: No, not really. I've already watched it, but this season I don't know with all the names and stuff.
Stefan: But I mean you're already...at the top. There's not that much that still can come.
Toni: No, no, would be nice if not.
Stefan: Do you also do these runway-things with other famous models ?
Toni: Yes Calvin Klein is already one of the biggest shows, there are already a lot of girls.
Stefan: Who's also walking there, of the top models ?
Toni: They aren't known here. For the shows over there, they are big but here... Here, they only know Heidi Klum but she's not on anymore (she ment that she's not doing runway shows anymore)
Stefan: She's not on anymore ? (He thought she ment that Heidi's not "hip" anymore)
Toni: No she's not doing shows anymore.
Stefan: Oh ok, one just says she's not on anymore, I thought she's not on (in terms of hip/cool) anymore.
(laughing)
Stefan: So that's like business-slang, theyre just doing pictures anymore. If ones getting older and cant walk properly anymore, is one just doing pictures then ?...
Toni: No I just mean for Fashion Week and stuff...
Stefan: Yeah, yeah, is there like an age limit that yo can do pictures until youre fourty...?!
Toni: No youre actually doing everything...you can still do everything...if they still want you.
Stefan: And would you like to continue this as a job or do you already say "no" Id like to do something respectably.
Toni: Yes at the moment it's definetely fun so definetely continue but let's see how long it works...
Stefan: ...Which year are you in now ?
Toni: 11th.
Stefan: 11th, that means you still got one...
Toni: Two.
Stefan: Two years ahead of you. Two years, you still have to do 13 schoolyears ? I thought they've just shortened it into 12 ?!
Toni: No Im the last year with 13 years.
Stefan: Oh youre the last year which still has to do 13 years, too bad ! That's bad luck, good trick: If you retake one year, you only have to do 12. (laughing) But in the end of the days it's still the same.
Toni: Yeah.
Stefan: Does it has an influence if Calvin Klein....does Mister Klein himself decide who's in the campaign...?!
Toni: He's not the chairman anymore, he sold his company a couple of years ago.
Stefan: Ah I see. There you go, I have no idea at all.
Toni: But the current designer decides it too.
Stefan: Ah he decides it. That means youre also a bit dependent on the designers generosity ? So if a Karl Lagerfled comes along and says "Yeah Toni..." Is it youre real name by the way ? Toni ? Or is it Antoni ?
Toni: It's actually Antonia, but no one calls me like that, so Toni.
Stefan: Ok, Toni. In Cologne we also like to call it ??? (dont understand it) (laughing) If a Karl Lagerfeld comes a long and cultivates somebody, then one has good chances, ones a bit dependent on the goodwill of the designers, no ?
Toni: Yes, a bit.
Stefan: Did you meet Karl Lagerfeld yet ?
Toni: No, not yet unfortunately.
Stefan: No. Does he know about you ?
Toni: I hope, I don't know
Stefan: Who knows, maybe you become the new...
Toni: Who knows.
Stefan: ...the new (tries t think of a famous model) Gina-Lisa ! (Participant of Germanys next top model, absolutely not model like at all) or whatever.
(laughing)
Toni (grints) Yeah I came across that name.
Stefan: Yeah. So, I wish you all the best further on
Toni: Yeah thank you.
Stefan: Take care, finish school.
Toni: Yes I will.
Stefan: And everytime again, youre most welcome to tell us about your new top jobs.
Toni: Yeah cool.
Stefan: Please also if one day, youre such a big star you dont need to come anymore, then - you are really cool. (laughing) So. Good luck further on
Toni: Thank you.
Stefan: And till next time. Toni Garrn !
