Topshop.com Question

I'm browsing the Topshop website and I was wondering if the sizes are the same as American standard sizes, does Topshop run small/big or what? Also is there any website where I can get pounds converted to dollars? Thanks everyone!

I was talking to some of my friends about this the other day and we actually think topshop sizes are slightly smaller-like a UK 8 is meant to be a US 4- but maybe you should go a size up incase, which is what a lot of us have to do, I wear everything hipster anyway, so I'll always need to wear it slightly bigger.
