The cover story is lovely: light, luminous, a little naïve. Dakota plays it understated, which brings balance and just the right amount of edge to the mix. Despite featuring an actor, the editorial keeps the clothes in the spotlight: Demme makes the most of every styling choice, giving them visibility and adequate perspective. A very serious job with a sweet, playful outcome.
