I love Billie and I thought she was the best part of Scream Queens, so I'm glad she got this. It's actually a very 'Town & Country' cover - easy glamour, effortless appeal, nothing overly artsy. So good on them.

Well, considering what she's been through over the past couple of months I'd say it's fitting. But yes, it could be more upbeat.

I'm actually surprised to see this weird austerity sweeping across American covers. They're renowned for their excessive cheerfulness in the face of adversity. Perhaps it's just a subconscious manifestation of their messy state of affairs....
