i was just wondering what they might be...what do you think (or know :shifty: )

..i would love Lena to post here, with her immense knowledge of the industry...not to mention the textile business (?), which is esentially the dictator in fashion...

:flower:

I don't understand how you can speculate so far into the future! It hardly feels like Spring '06 yet here!

Hmmm...I'll just guess. Big wooden style bracelets and bangles, big beaded necklaces:unsure: I have no clue.:(

i thot big wooden bracelets were a few years back......then again, fashion is recycled...isnt it?

I think that we will be seeing more of the 20's and 30's silouette, or I hope we will:blush:, with even more of the loose kind of boyish figure on women that focuses on the hips. I think it goes well with the casual & lots of volum-style that's been around for a while

anyways all we can do right now is speculate ^_^

i think grunge will take over this fall, and hopefully stick around for a while *crosses fingers*

feminility.... birds e flowers
volence... continues camouflages, and sign of violence
in the end like the love fighting with the war

I will hope with you ;) The 20s have been a sleeper trend for several seasons now ... I kinda like the fact that it's stayed off the radar for the most part, but I wouldn't mind seeing it blossom a bit more ...

Color has to come back at some point ...

the key trends in fabrics are predited two years prior to the 'release', and some companies work as far as 4(!) seasons ahead...:ninja:

i know...one volte-face after another...i wish there were brands as faithful to their vison as rick owens (but developing every season of course....) or jil sander (always a sense of unity), so i'm thiking colour too...

and notice how fashion has changed even in the last four seasons..no one would even dare put a wide belt or pay too much attention to their waist until stefano pilati's debut...teenagers are accepting loose-fitting clothing into the mainstrem...finally..

^ on the point...
clean minimalism is very much on the rise but it wont be too 90s (think reworked)
we will still see lots of delicate romanticism as in broderie anglaise, handmade lace details, lots and lots of fake whites and a dash of red to warm things up..
sportwear keeps blue (as in cobalt) comming up..
prints are getting weak, apart from two tones or tone-sur-tone

(this information is from premiere vision fabric salon, took place in Paris during February)
for your info, all companies are hot in working for ss07 as we speak, trend forecasts are already out for as far as fw0708 and trend agencies are already working on ss08 :flower:

^ it's exactly what i wanted to discuss...

thank you!:flower:

our present lost means thinking about the future trends ; )) and living trends we find the means of all sign today........ sorry about my bad english ; ))

If you have a look in somewhere like Borders they have trend forecasting and industry magazines there , they are expensive but I guess if you are interested then they are worth it. I haven't read one only flicked through so I can't say how helpful they are.

Personally I would love to see the return of the 1920s boyish figure.

^ i think you can count on lagerfeld to keep experimenting with dropped waists...he always does it..
..and i'm aware of the forecast publications, but what's "Borders"? where is 'it' available?

sorry to dissapoint you girls & boys but 20s are not at all forcated for ss07, shapes seem more on the balenciaga (50s) shapes and on layering
