@ KissMiss - you cannot win at all this month, hair in the face seems to be all the rage in Britain!
I really like the colours and the starkness of the image. It's interesting that magazines, except Harper's, now build the styling sort of around her personal style. I like that, it feels more genuine. With all this said, I dont think the image is suitable for the most important fashion issue.
This is actually better than I thought it could be, the colouring is nice. But yes, messy hair is a huge thing here in England, with such unpredictable weather we, as a nation, are trying to make messy, straggly hair a big trend.
elleuk.comPut two of Hollywood’s coolest characters in a room together and sparks are bound to fly. That’s exactly what happened when we tasked rockstar/actress Juliette Lewis to have a 'deep and meaningful' with her friend Kristen Stewart, one of the few young actresses working successfully across Hollywood blockbusters, high fashion and cultish Indie movies today.
The results were predictably unpredictable with Lewis accusing Stewart, 20-years her junior of being ‘a scrapper’ and able to ‘throw a punch’, Stewart admitting she has ‘no rhythm’ but wishing she could ‘tear sh*t up on the dance floor’ and the pair discussing everything from the perils of social media, to telling autograph hunters to 'f-off' and maintaining true friends despite the pressures of fame.
Lewis calls comedian Amy Shumer her mentor, while Stewart describes meeting Patti Smith when she was in a ‘f**ked place’ emotionally and how the older musician’s advice has proved invaluable.
She also addresses those rumours about her bitchy resting face.
Don't mind the fact Kristen Stewart's on Elle's September issue but this doesn't have a patch on Stewart's recent Harper's Bazaar stint. What's Kirsten sitting on? It looks like she's floating and I'm not a fan of the hair, which looks horrendously messy and greasy - I can't imagine ANY woman wanting to emulate that hairstyle. Nonetheless, I know I'll probably buy the travel sized edition at the airport next week.
