helloo =] okay, so i was on lacoste.com (i'm from the us) the other day, and in the uk section, i saw that the fall/winter collection was still up. but in the us section, they already had the spring/summer collection. i am pretty new to high fashion, and i love it, and am willing to learn lots. also i've always heard that Paris fashion is like two years ahead. so i'm just looking for some input guys. thank you!!!

the phrase that paris fashion is two years ahead usually means in design measures... like a US designer might come up with a design a parisian designer may have come up with a few seasons ago.... im not sure what the deal with the lacoste seasons are only that the UK site may be a little behind on putting up its winter stock (because it is a US brand and the buyers for UK may have not decided yet) they are both in the northern hemmisphere therefore obviously they are in the same seasons.
hope this helps!

 But, it's easy to call it American, cause it's such a quentissential US prep uniform. ;) Another brow-raising question is, what does Lacoste have to do with "high fashion"?
