UK Harper’s Bazaar March 2023 : Luna Bijl by Betina du Toit

The cover editorial and the one following look like they belonged in another issue and got moved. Absolutely nothing about either of those speaks to Spring or March.

Bazaar is a very lost magazine of late. I do miss its glory days. It could deliver glamour and luxury like no other, now it seems to just be muddling along, unsure of where it wants to actually go. It's a real shame. The cover is nice, she looks great, but it's just out of step.

Doesn’t look like a spring issue

Couldn't agree more. Some would argue florals for a spring issue would be cliché but snow for a spring issue just throws me completely off, and does indeed appear as though it was meant for a previous issue like December/January. A nice enough story but out of place here.

This marked my last issue as a British Harper's Bazaar subscriber after 15 years and while there is a little part of me that's disheartened, I do not feel as though at this rate that I will be missing out on much in the future.

In the shops, the issue comes with a free face cream here in England (priced at £5.99), and comes boxed as a result, as opposed to wrapped in plastic. I've seen those multi-buy purchases of Elle and Bazaar come boxed before but one fairly slim issue and a freebie stashed inside a rather large box took me by surprise over the weekend.

For me it's not the clothes that doesn't look spring or march but the mood of the editorials, sets, acting,etc....it looks like an august issue....but sad.

Glad to see Luna back on mags, only her edit & the Erin's save this issue.
