I would have loved a zoomed-out version of the first shot in the editorial as the cover, but at least it's someone different on the front - and it also seems like ages since any UK magazine (Vogue, Elle, Bazaar) had an Asian woman on their cover.

But sad.. She was once one of the most celebrated and accomplished actresses in India.
Then she torched her entire Indian cinema career... just to go to the states and become a glorified red carpet star.

Always got the impression that she and her people desperately want to push her as another Blake Lively/Sienna Miller/Emily Ratajkowski: Some superficial meangirl-vibed ideal for easily impressional women. But no one cares for their acting projects.

^^^ He's a catalogue photographer at best. He’s always blatantly ripping off Peter Lindbergh and Herb Ritts, but always lacks their smouldering, sensual, soulful and timeless sensibility, thus his images always end up resembling current-day Guess ads.

The shot of Priyanka's back is so obviously an attempt at Herb’s stark, sculptural simplicity. But the results are so hilariously devoid of sensuality and grace, and she looks like she’s clawing at the walls, desperate not to fall down.

I think even catalog ( if you mean ecommerce related) photographers ( who arent so well known, most of the time) exhibit more sensuality, individuality and vigor. With AL it is always so bland and vanilla
