Ooh, that newsstand cover looks like a must-have. For once I'll give the limited cover a miss. She looks stunning, and it's a great start to 2016. Not mad of the subscriber's cover because it looks like the opening page of an editorial.

Thanks for the uploads and review, Greenway!! ;)

IMO She always look so bland, I´ve only seen her in Ex-Machina and her look worked there but on fashion magazines she lacks charisma and presence. This time is no different but I like the main cover because of the styling.

Thanks for the previews and review :)

^ I also don't get her in print, the x factor she has on screen doesnt come through somehow. I would sooner expect her on Elle though, not the most exciting cover shots.

Thanks for snapping them all Greenway.

I'm so bored of her. She's everywhere, it's annoying me.

Magazines and the fashion world in general needs to stop pushing her, I think what's amazing about her is that she's just the kind of person that hasn't (and hopefully will not) master this public personality with an interesting style or things that make anyone curious... she's the kind of person that's only captivating through her daytime occupation, which is acting. I wish her people would control that a little... the offers are there, it's not like they depend on her exposure to fashion.. not entirely anyway.

I love the styling of this cover and think for once she's actually marketed in a nice, understated way, here.

Fashion magazines are such band wagon hoppers... This even though they pride themselves on leading the way.

This is what Harper's Bazaar US should look like.

You're quite right about Alicia in theory, but in a way they do depend on her fashion presence to further her career in Hollywood. The clotheshorse actress will always attract more attention doing press than the Catherine Keeners and Parker Poseys of the world. Even more if she's tied to a brand, in this case, Louis Vuitton. That's unfortunately how it works in Hollywood nowadays. I don't mind Alicia doing fashion press, I just want her people would be more selective with the choices.

Vanity Fair had an interesting article which dealt with the behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing of these Hollywood stylists:

UK Bazaar are making some very interesting cover choices at the moment and I love it.
Judging from the trailer, that War & Peace editorial will be stunning.

Loving both covers and especially the supplement, just gorgeous!

Newsstand cover reminds me of US Harper's a bit, just because of the white background and such, but it's the first time I've actually not minded seeing her name attached to a magazine, so that's good!
