not a big fan of jan cover but ı love bazaar uk work they do amazing pages

What does Gillian Anderson need to do to book a fashion cover?? She's well overdue imo.

"Before Sunset" is great. I'm not sure if I get the appeal of Alicia.

Maybe she's a great talent on film, but I find this cover story extremely dull. People talk about Gigi being ordinary, but presented like this, I wouldn't look once at this girl, never mind twice.

Just make Leith Clark the editor-in-chief already, her spreads are setting the tone for every issue and giving UK Harper's a new identity.

You know what, I actually agree to some extent with that. I've been thinking this for some time now. Justine really started off with a bang and I'm still totally behind her, but I just find the magazine a bit...light, in terms of articles. Beyond the fashion edits which users see each month in this thread, there's really nothing more of note. I could finish an issue in less than an afternoon, returning only to look at the fashion features again. Clark's contribution is the only incentive for me to buy every issue. But while she may have the Midas touch when it comes to styling, I'm not too sure how she'll perform as an all-rounder, juggling written content as well. Magazines are paying more and more attention to imagery than written content, and I feel there should be a balance. If I'm going to pay full price for a collector's cover, there should be more than pretty pictures in the issue.

I'm no Alicia fan, but this is a much better job than her current Vogue cover.

Love the subscription cover, blah to the news stand cover, Alicia looks pretty though of course.

Love the Before Sunset editorial.

Couldn't agree more Benn, thanks for taking the time to comment.

I was half-way kidding about Clark (only half-way). Because it's clear that Harper's Bazaar UK has some identity issues to work out. The magazine just feels so incoherent to me. But you're right, and that was always Clark's problem with Lula.
