UK Harper's Bazaar June 2023 : Vanessa Kirby by Betina du Toit

British Bazaar is taking the game. Gorgeous cover! I would love to frame it. Really make her justice. British ELLE and Bazaar own this year.

Looking very obviously like a jewellery advert, but no less pleasing to me for that. I always love a red cover as well.

Oh my God her face I just can't!!! :melting::hot::smilingwhearteyes:

U.K. Harper’s Bazaar coming through with very solid editorials even if nothing very original.

main editorial is very well done with beautiful close ups.

the picture of Africa behind the screen is absolutely gorgeous (profile shot, hand placement, hair - nailed it).

Looking through the online version, it's 182 pgs. Vanessa is in an actual Cartier ad near the front, as well as the unofficial advert of the cover. In addition to the main one, there appear to be three other covers, one limited edition and one digital, both of which appear to be images lifted from the other editorials, and one is a limited edition Tate Britain cover.

The issue's royal theme is not as in-your-face as some publications, with Vanessa having played Princess Margaret in The Crown, and one of the editorials being shot in Highgrove - but if you weren't aware of those things, you wouldn't notice the content being any different than most months, a posh estate is par for the course, and Vanessa's been on the cover several times before.

Very much approve of the cover - it's gorgeous! Absolutely here for the sense of glamour (which most magazines nowadays seem to be deathly afraid of). The beauty styling on Vanessa is flawless, love the red lip complementing the red Bazaar masthead.

Once again, however, it's the fashion content which just completely turns me off with British Harper's Bazaar and was the sole reason I unsubscribed. The imagery may be pleasant and somewhat of a signature but the endless contributions from the likes of Erik Madigan Heck and Richard Phibbs has become so unbelievably monotonous.

Yes, consistency and monotony are two sides of the same coin.

I treasure Bazaar for not changing much, in the midst of so many publications which have become increasingly childish. At the same time, is there a need to keep every issue in my collection, when so much of the content is the same?

The cover looks like an Ad Campaign- I love love this!

Very Tatler-ish.
