UK Harper's Bazaar September 2012 : Keira Knightley by Ellen Von Unwerth

She should've kept her mouth closed. In fact, if there's anything in her that annoys me is that "thing" she does her mouth But I still like her.

I'm so disappointed. We're often treated to a model cover for September. But I don't mind that Keira's covering the issue. It's Ellen von Unwerth's aesthetic that I don't rate. Far too brash and high-contrast for me to appreciate. Although Keira shone before Mert & Marcus' lens, I still admire Interview's April cover. Perhaps Camilla Akrans would have created an attractive shoot.

The newstand cover does look better in person. There are a few stronger shots in her editorial I'd have preferred to have seen on the cover though I think.

Overall I liked the issue, I think it was a nice strong September issue content wise.

She is wearing some great pieces here (the epic YSL chainmail dress makes another appearance) but just like the covers it feels over-thought/styled/forced and therefore is a bit of a mess to me.

Ava looks ravishing in on form and the styling is great too, love the last shot and the one with the royal blue Stella outfit. Also Keira once again looks a beauty but im more interested in the interview then the images im afraid.

Wow such gorgeous covers. Keira looks incredibly beautiful! There's a dark romanticism about both shots that really works!
