As expected, the editorials pretty much lived up to it's titles. But major props to Agata Popiezynska!!! Of course there are flashes of Lindbergh, but I love the mood and her angles. And I've just googled Alecia Morais, apparently from Cabo Verde, the African archipelago. What a beauty!
Hilary's editorial is a bit of a let-down. Saccharine styling aside, her presence looks so awkward. What's happening with that Prada shot, for instance?
I wonder where Justine Picardie get all the energy to not only edit the entire magazine, but also contribute 2/3 features each month. I've tucked into her piece on Inge Morath, very well written!!
I wish Leith Clark would have styled Arizona's editorial, Arizona in the highlands has me craving autumn. Rhoda as a saccharine sweet girly girl doesn't work for me. Rosie has become too artificial looking, this editorial would have worked better 6 years ago when she was still maintained her natural beauty. A very weak issue for them. The ideas are all there, but no magic happened.
I quite like all the editorials. Rosie looks good, I like that she looks more like a model than celebrity here. Arizona's cool too although I'm not a fan of the styling, but I do love the scenery.
Brave the elements is also so very beautiful.
Since when have Harper's Bazaar stopped doing their travel sized editions? The lady at WHSmith in the airport last week told me Bazaar hadn't done one for a while now, and I was a little surprised. Nonetheless, I bought the regular sized copy with Rosie on the front (because the cover's just too gorgeous to pass up).
