Yikes! This is horrible! Terrible styling, terrible cropping, terrible photograph! Model looks terrible here...and Charlene is seriously gorgeous! How did this happen??! LOL

Definitely don't like the styling, but very happy for Charlene, hope she gets more exposure because of this.

Yikes, who chose this image! You cannot even see her eyes properly. They had a lot of potential with the cover, it's a beachy shot which is always welcome, imo. But that denim jacket simply wasn't needed.

It does stand out on the newsstand as nice and summery. The colours help it jump out. It's packed with some product from Saint Tropez too which will no doubt aid it a little.

I detest the styling, it looks like a beautiful model forced to pose like an insecure person trying to hide their waist. Still, it says summer has arrived.

UK Marie Claire often turns up for £2.50 in Tescos, so I'll be buying a copy if that's the case. I would not pay the full price for this magazine these days.

Elle and Harpers are the only magazines that don't appear to be reducing their cover prices on the Newsstands in the UK at the moment. Vogue hasn't been its full price in the North East for absolutely months.

Instead of single-issue price reductions, I think Elle, Bazaar and Red are going for the multi-pack approach, because with every buyer, it bumps up sales numbers for several publications at once. I usually get the three-mag pack every month for £6.99 or £7.99.

Thing is, you'd have to wait for a few days after the issue hits the newsstand before the multi-packs are released in my area. Sometimes that's fine, especially if the content looks weak. But I do wish they'd lump Tatler in that multipack instead of Red (which I find so uneventful, imo), but it probably won't happen because Tatler falls under CN.

I subscribed to Tatler in a deal that works out to £1 per issue, so for the price of 3-4 issues, you get the lot. You don't get the bulky free gifts like plastic sunglasses, but you do get all the supplements and other bumpf.

Red often has the most free samples inside a magazine, but it's not a publication that I ever keep around for long after getting it.

Quite lovely ed, better than the cover imo. That close up is really beautiful.

Wow. Any of the images from the editorial would make for a better cover.

You can tell she's a newbie, lots of one-note posing and odd angles. But the styling is solid, and she's got potential.
