It's colourful, which I like, and it's someone different for the cover. But I'm wondering if this looks far better in digital than it will in print.
I don't mind Elizaveta Porodina, but the work always seems to follow the same formula. When the strongest part of a picture comes from effects added in post-production, that can feel superficial, synthetic and unsatisfying when seen on the page, and not on a screen.
Underneath it all, is this another UK Vogue low-budget studio shoot with a musician, except this time the photographer is someone who can add enough pizazz in post-production to make you think it's more exciting than it is?
I know, who gives a sh*t about print these days, I do, which is why I'm saying this, but the world has moved on without me.
