UK Vogue January 2010 : Rachel Weisz by Tom Craig

I actually like the cover. It's simple and delicate, but not dull. And I'm so happy it's not Alex Curran :innocent: The contents aren't exciting though...

^ Oh! 190? That's thin for a UK VOGUE Jan issue

All January issues are pretty thin.....it's not until February when you get all the new ads etc.:D

Love Rachel but need to see this cover IRL....colours look very muted and the pic is quite unoriginal. Thank the bloody Lord that Alex Curran is not on the cover....can you imagine them starting their year off with her.
Thanks for the snap and the review McQueezy:flower:

NOOOOO! Alex CURRAN?! They have to be bloody kidding me... That is just awful. Thos woman isn't even a celebrity. What did she do for being in Vogue? Being not so stylish? Blegh.

Looking forward on seeing Lara's ed. I like the cover. It's nice but nothing more.

This is so disappointing! I was hoping for an iconic model cover and I get Rachel Weisz and another editorial of British celebrities wannabe children. Lovely start to the new decade, Alexandra.

I find it odd that Rachel doesn't have an interview. It's like Alexandra has chosen to use her as a model instead of a celebrity...?

i love Rachel's beauty but... what a fcking dull cover.

Thanks McQueezy for info and pic

Gypspy Girl - Lara Stone - excellent

Pretty in Pink - Rachel Weisz - What no interview with Rachel  That's weird considering she's got The Lovely Bones coming out and it would be interesting to here what she's got to say about it.

Class of 2010 by David Bailey - I hope it's not a bunch of pretentious gits in the mold of Pixie, Peaches, rich kids like normal.

Alex Goes East - Alex Curran - DO NOT WANT.

I think Paloma Faith must be in the Class of 2010. She was shot by him for Vogue, so guessing it's in there.

I don't really care about the cover and it doesn't sound exciting as a whole, but we'll see.

alex curran? yes i officially HATE this magazine now. it's terrible. the articles are so poor.

Love Rachel, but the cover... not a good look.

I'm having difficulty establishing an opinion without a full view of the cover, I think. I feel like I should have an opinion (I usually do), even if it was "bored to death", but my brain has just... blanked.

Eww!! Don't like that picture...nothing special.
Interrested by Lara and Cat!!!!!!

The unique good Lara by Willy Vanderperre, the cover is baad and sooyting by Tom Craig?? soo cheap

Bazaar does glamour better than Vogue, Dazed & Confused do eccentricity, i-D often focus on 'british' styles and youth culture, and Tatler is 'smarter'.

I don't know what British Vogue's identity is supposed to be  ...perhaps something literary? Intellectual?
