I think I'll buy this solely for the Lou Doillon and Jane Birkin editorial .I must say that, unlike a lot of people here, I couldn't care less about how the cover looks like, I'd rather buy a magazine based on what I see inside.I generally like their past and present UK models issue , but this one doesn't really do it for me, I don't like the models (Jasmin Guiness, Rosemary Fergusson..Although I do like Marie Helvin and Catherine Bailey), nothing extraordinary.

I wasnt that excited for this magazine when I first saw the cover but the inside has a lot of great stuff. Lily Cole really amazes me in this issue, she looks incredible in that black Christopher Kane minidress and that Dior Couture gown, I would buy this issue just for those 2 pics and the Lou Dillion ed looks pretty cool too!

i'm not crazy over the cover iehter. i adore vogue uk for it's articles anyway, never really cared about covers.

Does anyone actually have this magazine yet? cause, in norway, it usually arrives the 10th-11th. if anyone has it, could they please scan the "75 buys"?

I think it's shocking that even after a cover with a group shot of British models, lily D. still hasn't landed the cover of her native Vogue. Even Agyness was given the cover treatment by Alexandra already!

Yes I agree. I've been awaiting that cover for years now! She is such a quintessentially English beauty, why won’t they ever put her on the cover?! Whilst this Cole creature has been on the cover 3 times already

I agree, why don't they ever give Lily Donaldson her own cover? She's quite successful and gorgeous.

For being 53, Marie's still a very sexual model - I think it's because she prefers to remain resolutely single and lives on her own, instead of opting to be some rock star's wifey who fills her spare time making organic soaps. I get the impression Marie fills her time having red-hot flings with young male models.

haha, yes, she seems really cool. She definitely always was very sexual as a model - and come to think of it - I never really liked her work, even if her high fashion appearances were almost exclusively shot by Bailey, who is definitely a great one. Contrary to what you often hear - the photographer having it on with the model doesn't seem to do anything good for the photos at all, well, unless you're into p*rn I guess.

Yes, I was thinking about this over the weekend - why no Lily Donaldson cover so far? She has a look that's completely in keeping with the whole 'we own a stately home' aesthetic that UK Vogue loves so much. She has a cold beauty, with a touch of nervy neuroticism, like a highly strung thoroughbred horse. She can also do old-school silver screen glamour.
