alexandra shulman needs to get some interesting ideas! i mean this is like her own version of us vogue's supermodel cover and it's dreadful!

For me, the one stunning shot in the issue comes in the beauty section, a 1970 shot of Charlotte Rampling.

Isn't that just so sad? Marie Helvin's presence also refers to great days of the past, of course, doesn't make it better...

For being 53, Marie's still a very sexual model - I think it's because she prefers to remain resolutely single and lives on her own, instead of opting to be some rock star's wifey who fills her spare time making organic soaps. I get the impression Marie fills her time having red-hot flings with young male models.

Working the trends is not boring (eventhough imo the tuxedo or the trousers+shirt/tshirt is over-used for old ladies) but not that original (but hey that's Vogue not "underground" magazines! annonceurs must be shown! no matter the style!)...
Lily's pages are pretty good (except 2! with the MarcbyMarc and short and veston and the one with fringes... i hate fringes!) but the "normal" girls/women are very bad dressed!!!! only Joan Berstein is good, imo. The Chancelors are soo bad styled... the rest is déjà-vu... But I think I'm def. not into the "mixing trends" all together as a only theme... and the "dress a 50 old woman as she's 25" I think this is ridiculous... and why almost all the old ladies are photoshoped to death? it's sad... (maybe it's not only photoshop but the light front in your face, too and maybe botox...)

Jane & Lou is no surprise AT ALL!... I wish people would do interesting things with them and not only take their usual outfits in a fashion editorial... I need surprise!!! But i've noticed one or two things I like (Jane wearing this large trousers with the long and xxl cardigan and small jacket... it's cool, simple, easy, conservative, very Birkin/Doillon/Gainsbourg etc. style but I like this combinaison... I'll try it I think...)

teen spirit is not that bad but forget, please, the socket in the highheels!!
