UK Vogue May 2015 : Emilia Clarke by Paolo Roversi

I expected more. It's VERY simple, she looks sleepy, but I'd still say I like it.

UK Vogue is simply not interested in making good covers. She looks Dazed, like she woke up. They could have shown her as powerful, and in control. This is just nothing, have seen better Selfies on IG than this.

This is very bland and unexciting to me..........

This is very unfortunate. How can they have such a gorgeous lady and end up with these results? She looks sleepy and confused.

Every magazine is teasing me with Chloe Sevigny. Give her a cover please.

So happy for Emilia. She looks awesome. She does look a little dazed, I agree.

That weave looks awful. Why are they so obsessed with pink text? Change it up once in a while...

She looks like she just woke up from a very wild night, hungover! The dress was last night's serving and that wig started to loosen all its glue. The should have at least placed the masthead behind her to show her off more to make up from that awful expression. It seems like they tried to hide her.

One thing that I like about it is the fact that Roversi shot it and not the staple Testino

I was looking forward to her landing a UK Vogue cover, but this is dreadful in every way.

I loved Gilt Trip by Tim Walker in Burma, so I suppose his story in Bhutan should be stellar indeed.

Wished Emilia Clarke looked more present on the cover though.

My subscription has come through as well and the Karen/Tim story is magnificent, I love it. This is where UK Vogue excels and reminds me that they can produce wonderful shoots when they want to. Emilia's story is beautiful also, her hair is darker than the cover and the setting is different. There is a shot of her in Dolce and Gabbana that would have been a spectacular cover but never mind; simple covers of blonde girls sell well for UK Vogue apparently.

I hate that dior dress, it´s so from the movie Pretty girl

Absolutely love this cover! Emilia deserves it and I'm also really excited to see Karen by Tim!

Not even the hot pink layout could take away the blandness of this cover, what a shame :(
I´m really looking forward to Elson by Walker, hope they don´t disappoint!

a clearer preview of the cover

^ Whoa, this is actually shocking to me. Lets get a super beautiful photogenic girl, and do NOTHING with her, just make her hair look even more fried up, and tell her to exude no energy or life!!

Even more pathetic that you have a great man like Roversi shoot it. Shulman's time is to exit, i really hope it happens after next years annviersary issue!

She looks tired/lifeless .. she needs a energydrink

They could've done better with Emilia as the covergirl. Vogue UK covers are so repetitive.
