UK Vogue October 1, 1969 : Maudie James by Guy Bourdin

Turns out that the last images of this editorial were not Bailey's but Henry Clarke's - a page from this mag had been torn out :ninja:

This is the last one of the Baileys.

woooo look at yves saint laurent!
yea... i love this the editorials are fabulous and really artistic.... but i dont like the cover :( sry it is blah... and i usually go crazy over vintage covers

^I know! It's a bit of a shock that it's British vogue AND Guy Bourdin. USually a really good combo, but here it didn't work out. Easily the worst cover by Bourdin that I've seen.

In general, 1969 started to get a little over-the-top...

The make-up is gruesome, the outfit horrendous, the hair weird, one eye is bigger than the other, and I don't like her face :)
