Elle USA Digital Edition

I have the digital issue with JLaw´s cover. Anyone has the others in HQ?

I've grown to like Elle's multicover concept, but the part I loathe about it is the single shot inside the magazine. Why only one shot? Think about the time and effort it took to pull it together? Cut the pointless Bellemere edit in half and give us more profile images.

Do like the last shot of Steffy though.....

Is this Robbie last issue as eic? When Nina starts?

Got my issue over the weekend, the bookstore had three covers (sadly no Cicely, but Jennifer, Margot and oddly enough Tessa). So I got Margot's cover. Cicely's interview was conducted by Viola Davis, who she's quite fond of. And there's much references to Miss Jane Pittman, a film which I'm planning on seeing over this week.

In addition to the celeb stories, there was also a really interesting set of features about how guys react at work when their female coworkers move up the corporate ladder. Not something I'm familiar with, but an important read. It's quite well written and thought-provoking, something a lot of men should be reading instead of women, to be quite honest. Then came the bit about female-on-male harassment in the office, which I must say I never regarded personally. What did struck a bit of a personal chord with me was one male writer's witty anecdotes about what it's like having a woman as his boss. Since I entered the workforce, I've only ever had one male boss (for a very brief stint, but a waking 'boys club' nightmare regardless), and the rest were all female. So I could completely relate with everything he mentioned, and perhaps add that I'm afforded more temperament and quirk with female bosses. :Pink:

But yeah, will really miss Robbie's Elle! Despite it being a women's magazine, the tone of her features were always unbiased, just and empowering to both females and males.
