Thanks Scotty.

Terrible photography all-around. And he managed to make Scott look so unattractive. And he gets paid for this.

What a cool choice for the cover. Love C. Eastwood.

It's just so exhausting to realize how completely unrealistic it would be for a female fashion magazine in general putting a woman Clint's age on the cover?! Until the day Maggie Smith gets a cover of a magazine, get these old farts off of them. :ermm:

a racist by a r*pist, keep up the great work, Esquire!

I'm pretty sure if someone would try to make a Douchebag protein shake in the morning it would look like Scoot Eastwod ! That face and those lame *** expressions...

Jack and Léa look great though.

Is there a particularly strong demand for Maggie Smith to be on a cover? That's the most WTF thing I read today (at least until I scrolled down and read the racists/r*pist post). Clint is one of the most relevant actors/directors working in Hollywood. Just two years ago he directed one of the biggest grossing movies of the year, which nabbed a Best Picture nomination and plenty of awards and accolades for Clint personally. He has a high profile movie being released later this year. As much as I love Maggie, she's got nowhere near the relevance or name recognition.

Besides, how is it Esquire's problem that women's magazines won't put older women on covers? Write to editors of those publications and demand they put Maggie Smith on the cover.

So this is the redesigned Esquire?! I hate when magazines goes completely retro. You don't need to pretend it's 1963 to recapture the glory years of the magazine and you know the budget is sh*t when you have to settle for Terry as your "big name photographer" they'll probably have Lagerfeld shoot their next cover.

Jane Fonda is 78 and she was on W's cover.

D-bags galore!

Nah that's not fair, I don't really know his son. Eventhough he looks the part.

Lmao, no, she was just the first 80+ actress to pop into my head.

I am! Gosh shoot me for caring about someone who has stories to tell as oppose to Alicia Vikander.

Okay, but he's not "telling stories" about the gold old days or whatever, he's... ranting and raving about the current generation being a "p*ssy generation" and lamenting about how in his day, racism wasn't racist!

So would you rather it be a Beyonce interview where everything is strictly pre approved by her to make sure it's done in the most positive light?

Or would you rather magazines only cover opinions that are the same as yours?

Am no C.E fan due to his crazy antics but this would have made a better cover considering the title, the corny father son cover looks odd. But with better styling since Esquire is a mens magazine with a strong focus on fashion.
I didnt have photoshop but wanted to show just an idea of what I mean
