US GQ March 2021 : The 'Modern Lovers' Issue

What's the story with Megan's rib (or muscle?). Both covers look decent, and I like the rich colours on Naomi Osaka's one.
But the casting feels so...Buzzfeed.

And Sam Taylor Johnson appears to be shooting more covers and content than she's making movies.

I'm not nitpicking here, but what stopped them from celebrating a male couple.. isn't this a men's magazine after all? Appreciate the effort, but it fell flat for me.

Also, what in the Emanuele Farneti is that art direction? Is Will Welch auditioning for Vogue Italia? Can you blame him though cause after all being an amateur GQ Editor can land you on the top spot of a big 4 Vogue,

So based on the coverline a Ciara cover is still coming? I'd like to see that, please with none of this nu-hipster nonsense. Ciara is like Janet. Keep it cheesy and sexy.

There's nothing modern about any of this

Heterosexuals better one, two step up their game cause it's clearly outdated to be straight! Keep up with the modern lovers people :judge:

Ciara's cover is very underwhelming, looks like Glamour!

i want naomi's jumper right now.

Very lovely indeed, but you'd have to handle it with kid gloves if you want it to last, trust me! Those type of jumpers starts pilling almost after the 5th wear and they're not exactly cheap.

This is like their "new masculine" theme a while ago, just because you now have come to terms with this, doesn't make it "new" or "modern", but I guess they had to make it digestible for their readers.

A lesbian couple on the cover of GQ....why?
Heterosexual couples are the new modern thing...

ZERO gay couples on the cover of a magazine about men....FOH.

Farneti called and wants his shoelace typeface back

I would called it out-fashioned if it would have any connection with fashion at all ... but i find this edition rather irrelevant to be honest

Other than the two pages of spring shopping and the cover stories styled with largely irrelevant outfits, the entire issue felt like a Dan Savage book released as a magazine.
