Even though Kate Hudson has fronted countless covers of US Bazaar, this somehow feels very fresh and different for Harper's Bazaar. Maybe it's the fact Alexi Lubomirski shot Kate and not Terry Richardson. The shot of Kate coming out of the pool is stunning and I love the one of her lying on the side. She looks fantastic. The red shots are perfect for the festive season too.
Nice cover.. glad they didn't use festive/Xmas colors and yet the cover conveys the joy of the season and also the element of "freshness" expected in Dec/Jan covers.. Also, I love that even though the cover is still plagued with a lot of text, at least now it looks classy and doesn't take away from the beauty of the cover. Love the editorial BTW! say what you want about Kate Hudson's "relevance" but she makes a good subject
How Kate managed to wear that McQueen costume and look relatively normal I'll never know, but the cover and story is really fresh. The people at St. Tropez should consider Kate after those two pool shots, wow
Okay, the only headline that jumped out at me (and quite frankly is the only thing that makes me want to buy this issue) is the article by J.K. Rowling! I'm excited to see what that's all about. Kate looks very beautiful on the cover, she looks very fresh and joyful. It's a nice way to convey the holiday season without being over the top.
I like the cover. Kate is very photogenic and her covers and editorials are usually good. This is no exception. The kitschy color scheme is quite surprising for a December issue and I love it. The editorial is a little too one-note for me, but the shot of her in the pool is flawless.
