Jesus, this magazine is a lost cause. Just last year Julia did a similar cover for the British edition in red. Earlier this year this very edition shot Jennifer Lopez in similar pink tulle overload. Doesn't Glenda lay her covers out against the wall like any seasoned editor would? Crikey.

It's not a bad shoot. Very generically Julia, but I like the green profile shot better for a cover. Don't ask me what's happening with the subscriber's cover.

I hate when they photoshop celebrities doing “extreme” things. Looks cheap to me.

As ever, it's Bazaar-by-numbers, but given what passes for covers elsewhere, I can't hate it.

I can imagine someone looking at the newsstand, with Claire Foy on the front of US Vogue looking like a damp cloud, seeing this big smile and the fun (if unfashionable) combination of a big pink dress and trainers, and deciding to buy Bazaar instead of Vogue.

I just read the article and it's actually not photoshopped! I guess she has a fear of heights and wanted to conquer it.

But yeah, not a great cover. The sneakers made me wrinkle my nose.

Why on earth didn’t they use the portrait with the green dress/top. That is a beautiful shot!

The main cover leaves me cold. Julia looks STUNNING, but the overall look feels like she’s giving an HOMMAGE to Carrie Bradshaw.

I love this, she looks amazing and like she's actually genuinely having FUN! Love Julia

It's pretty generic but I still like it mainly because of Julia's energy.

I love the second picture of Jane Fonda and Patrisse Cullors

I fail to understand why she doesn't know she looks her best with brown hair that matches her eyes like she had in the 90s. Also My Best Friend's Wedding was right, she shouldn't wear pink.

she looks like Elle Macpherson on the cover
I love Julia, but clearly magazine is not her thing.....

i love this. she looks beautiful and fresh. the portrait in green top is to die for
