Because she has a huge fan following and has had more success this past year than any other star featured on their cover. Not to mention she's very classy and always looks stunning on the red carpet.

I don't find her style unique. Her clothes wear her, not the other way round. There are so many more deserving actresses who should be on the cover of Instyle: Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Thandie Newton, Paula Patton, Marion Cotillard, the list goes on.

She is a beautiful girl but the cover looks so amateur and cheap.

She's undeserving of a cover for a fashion magazine. Which I guess InStyle is more of a lifestyle cheap magazine. Her style is and not distinct. Her hair and makeup is always so boring and predictable. Blah!!! However I love the Leighton Meester shots.
InStyle needs to change their format though, magazine looks cheap.

when does the June issue come out? anyone know? I keep checking my bookstore but keep seeing the Carrie Underwood issue. I guess that InStyle hits stands later than I thought!
