Mirte on US Vogue again? Well having a celebrity in the cover sells. What US Vogue usually does is give the cover to the one who sells. Just like the 90s during the time of the supers, we see them EVERY MONTH and sometimes the same girl gets the cover twice in a row. So we really can't blame Anna or the publication. Blame AMERICA if you want to blame someone.

No. They shot 'Bohos In Paradise' in the May 2007 issue with Raquel & Doutzen and Daria's editorial in the September 2007 issue. Those were the only ones I can recall.

Despite all the complaints about the repetition of cover stars Vogue US has featured new faces the past year. Anne Hathaway, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Biel, Blake Lively, Michelle Obama, Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey and Marion Cotillard are all new faces to the Vogue fold in the past year.

I'm really excited for Kristen McMenamy. Guinevere and Christina Kruse also make my day. Can't say that I don't want to see Karlie by Meier. After what he did last month with Patricia Van der Vliet, I'm looking forward to that editorial. Glad to see Mirte on the pages of US Vogue yet again and one more time by Meisel.

The Meisel editorial looks amazing...slightly reminscent of Mulberry F/W 09 and I must say that it's exciting to see Kristen and Christina in this issue. Despite what the haters continue to say, US Vogue has been so good recently (although I could do with some Liu, Lakshmi and Sedene in the mag ).

Oh well. On the bright side, this means she's not on the September cover.
