This is weird to me. If it's going to come out as late as January 21, then they should have made the December a December/January and then just moved onto February.

I agree. Instead, after the Winter issue, they are releasing the March edition on Feb 25th.

These distribution companies need to seriously sort out these import dates. Putting out an issue on the shelves in February 2025 dated December 2024 and asking £8.50 is ridiculous. Nevertheless, I bought myself a copy of this today. I was amazed to see the two covers sat on the shelves in WHSmith (I went with the Meisel cover, obvi).

Why? I mean, at least in Canada that's how it's always been for imported magazines. It's never really bothered me, but I'm sure the UK is more used to being "ahead" of the time that a backwoods country like Canada. I think I saw the December Vogue UK on sale at the bookstore the other day and Vogue Paris is I think on their October issue here (I find the issues preceding double-month issues are on the shelf briefly, then it catches up)... until it falls out of sync again. Anyway, it's just something that's never bothered me.
