she's right, look at the poor model with the dress sliding off! That dress must weigh a ton, looks impractical...

i think it's all very tacky too but I really don't blame melania. GIrl picked a bad dress but that's nothing to crucify her for, it doesn't reflect her inner character or anything. I'm more turned off by Trump than her. My goodness, all this publicity has really gone to his fat comeover head. The man really thinks he hung the moon or something, and all this publicity and showing off over his wedding just screams nouveau riche.

I'm disappointed in US Vogue more than ever.. thank god I cancelled my subscription..
I wouldn't exactly call this a good way to promote models on the cover of Vogue. There is one reason she is on Vogue US: She is Donald Trump's new bride. Not because she was ever a great model or that she is even that well known for being a model.

OK, I am new hear but want to voice my opinion....I hate both the dress and the cover. They are both way to busy...there are too many competing and conflicting elements and not nearly enough color contrast on either the dress or the cover and why too much text on the cover.

What I am most confused about is why she dyed her hair to that aweful light yellowly blond color that does not compliant her skin tone at all. In the pics with her for lack of a better term oxblood colored hair she looks more natural and more attractive. I thnk the vail would also look better in her natural color as it would give contract to the vail and the wall behind her which now she blends into...I guess marrying Trump means dying your hair bleach blond.

I love the Vera Wang, dress. It is complex but comes off as simple and sexy but the hair is well, I have already gone on about that.

The cover now is just a diaster -- so cluttered that is almost impossible to read. The fonts are competing with the dress. The color offers not contrast and the lighting blends it all to one yellowish, creme color mess

the veil is too much... should have been a short, simple veil attatched to her hair, like seriously only a 6in by 12 in piece of fabric

would have been much much MUCH more dramatic.

Lots of people seem to dislike the dress in that thread lol...it does look rather tacky on the Vogue cover...In the photo brian posted though, i just can't stop staring at it...it looks fantastic
