US Vogue July 2011 : Emma Watson by Mario Testino

I think Lara Stone's best work is in US Vogue. Other magazines seem more obsessed with her body and boobs than in creating a true story around her photos.

I'm not enthused by the cover (thought it could definitely have been worst) but the inside pages are quite good, Testino's editorial is playful and fresh but also unexpected, at least for me ... specially knowing that sometimes he makes really plain images but ... it turns like he's doing a great work again lately.

Lara's editorial is also great (as always) and the stylism goes perfect ... wish Lara got a US cover, if there's going to be a model's cover issue who better than she??

what I don't like from this issue is the next Princess of Monaco's story and images, I found her completely unattractive and all that press about her being the next Grace just makes me sick ... maybe it's also because I can't stand her future husband.

Gossamer Veil is that all the MET Gala pages there are?

I'm just surprised as Anna usually puts in heaps of little pics of everyones outfits and I would have thought there would have been a pic of Blake lively.

Maybe there is. If there isn't... well, is it too much to hope that Wintour would've weaned herself off the Lively obsession? :p:blink:

omg, Lara is so beautiful. and half of the Spellbound pics you could post on your wall immediately. they look perfect

I haven't finished the issue yet, I try not to even start until it's actually july, but I think this is one of the best in a while. LOVE Lara's editorial, it's just insanely beautiful in print, but I also really enjoyed reading Emma Watson interview and the article on Tina Brown. really great issue so far

Since the previous post including HQ cover & editorial was deleted (because of not-allowed image hosting site I think), I'm reposting.

Emma Watson by Mario Testino
Emma looks fantastic. I've always thought, even when she was a little girl, that she resembles 80s actress Cynthia Gibb. And that's who she reminds me of here.
I would buy this issue just for her ed and the article. I couldn't care less about the rest of the contents.

haven't really started reading my issue yet, but it looks better than june already!
