This is probably my favorite US Vogue/ celebrity cover and editorial. Salma looks so gorgeous in that Rochas dress on the cover and her editorial is really beautiful, especially the shot of her in the red dress with the parasol. I also like that they've made her look much taller than she really is.

Got this issue for a very good price, off eBay a few days ago. I never go after US Vogue back issues, but for £2.50 I could not resist.
The content seems great, Meisel's edit is beautiful. Nice addition to my collection!

Oh, Mulletproof. Always bumping heads, even back in 05! Lol.

Thanks for the scans, T-rex. Is it possible to scan Salma's editorial? This is easily the most beautiful Vogue covers under Anna. Actually thought it was Meisel because of the innuendo which matched her film.
I remember VF had her in a bathing suit around the same time. So dissapointing. I think that's the shoot Mulletproof was thrashing.

This is a great issue (and it's June!) I miss Testino's simple, Photoshop-and-filter-free photography. Arthur Elgort's ed makes good use of its location and beautiful trees and old wooden porches and fences. And Meisel... the world's top photographer who Vogue rarely uses anymore (I believe only three times in the past few years.)
