I was so excited to see Charlize's name on the thread title but this cover feels quite lackluster. It's not a bad shot, I just expected more.

Nothing says 'summer' like filling half your cover shot with the colour black, with the thought of how lovely it'd be in the heat, when you're sweating in a laced-up dress.

That dress does not belong on in that setting or with that styling, it's clearly only there because of Charlize's ties with Dior. She should be wearing something far more appropriate to the fact she's clearly going to be shot in a sun drenched beach setting.

I know some of you say she's had better vogue covers but has she really? Even her September cover was a complete bore and there really needs to be a cap of how many covers theses actresses can be on. How many times can one read about her or Gwyneth or nicole??!?! The stench of staleness permeates. I have always loved vogue approach to Madonna. They have given her the cover multiple times yet sparingly and only at times when it was almost fresh and interesting to see her pop up and certainly at very differentt points in her life. Nowadays Rihanna has almost had as many covers in 4 years as Madonna has had in 20 plus.
