Blame it on Rio is so hot, wow. Weird that the cover belongs to Meisel and its ed to Mario, but the last one did it so good.

It’s not really that weird though. It happened quite often during this era that the cover didn’t necessarily correspond with an accompanying editorial inside.

I noticed in the older issues of VI, they constantly took an image from an editorial and used it for their cover for another month. Drove me nuts!

Like the Nikki Taylor ed for American Vogue in 1994. An outtake was used for the june cover of VI for the same year.
