I gotta say I really miss Carter Smith and his work.
I know he is not as famous as some other photographers but he's amazing and he definitely contributed a lot to magazines.

Amazing Meisel!
There’s always that sense of being fan girls when it comes to Meisel but he is really amazing. More than anyone else, I miss his vision at US Vogue. Anna pulled something very different from him!

Just now noticed that there is no Givenchy and Yves mentioned in text as inspiration for Gaultier look but they not felt the need to include his work in the ed. And same time 4 from Chanel and 3 looks from Dior, Gaultier and Lacroix each

I think it was at that time that Anna was banned from YSL. I know she was banned from YSL at one point and she and a lot of editors had a conflictual relationship with YSL/Bergé.
