US Vogue October 1998 : Oprah Winfrey By Steven Meisel

I also didn't have an idea she was a Vogue cover girl.

Absolute Couture is beyond amazing! The contrast between the studio shots and the outdoor ones is just beautiful. And I have no words about the styling. Grace nailed it.

Thanks for posting MagFan! :flower:

That girl you didn't know is Audrey Marnay
US Vogue October 1998 Review:

Absolute Couture
Model:Carolyn Murphy
Photographer: Steven Meisel
Fashion Editor: Grace Coddington
This editorial is obviously full of the seasons best Couture, It takes place in a beautiful restaraunt and Carolyn has on some of the most beautiful glamorous gowns,
but there are also studio shots with her in very fantastical creations. I really liked this one!^_^

Night Light
Model:
Photographer: Peter Lindbergh
Fashion Editor: Grace Coddington
Some girl running around in a forest with elegant gowns, nothing new.
Clothing is quite minimal, but still beautiful. No idea who she is but she's fabulous!

Peak Performance
Model: Carolyn Murphy
Photographer: Michael Thompson
Fashion Editor: Paul Cavaco
This editorial makes me wnat to get into any sport that requires the athletic gear that was photographed,
it's a studio edit, but I really liked this!:p

Great Lengths
Model: Angela Lindvall
Photographer: Carter Smith
Fashion Editor: Paul Cavaco
Angela Lindvall looking very natural in a farm setting, with a lot of comfort clothing,
makes me want to take a break from the city and go to a farm:lol:
Overall the editorials are mediocre, but some inspiring.

I really miss those cheesy couture eds shot in Paris. Really sells that fantasy of what couture can do to make a (Rich) woman absolutely stunning.

There another lovely one with Audrey Marnay that I go back from time to time.

Thank you very much, Burbuja!!!

Just now noticed that there is no Givenchy and Yves mentioned in text as inspiration for Gaultier look but they not felt the need to include his work in the ed. And same time 4 from Chanel and 3 looks from Dior, Gaultier and Lacroix each
