But can this "Annie Leibovitz in wonderland" brat the OG "Annie Leibovitz in wonderland' tho. We see, but I already have a feeling I will like this issue more than the September.

It's a really soft, ethereal cover. She looks breathtaking without even trying! These type of work are best ones a photographer can do.
Styling is also really stunning! And set. It complements all too well.

I was very excited over that headline because I also expected another glorious wonderland editorial, but I think it's more likely going to be a promo article for her new book titled Wonderland. Not sure if we're even going to see any new work.

I echo everyone's sentiments on this cover. Gorgeous! I think it's especially fitting for US Vogue. It's quite simple and commercial, but with just the right amount of polish and fantasy thanks to that Schiaparelli jewellery which on its own I would find quite try-hard, but in this setting (and on Lorde), just works! Refreshing is the right word, though I wish her expression were just a bit more joyful.

The editorial is actually equally as captivating as the cover, and works well as a US Vogue celebrity cover story, which I'm surprised at. Very happy for Theo de Geultzl and I hope he gets more opportunities to shoot covers for this magazine. I'd like to see whether this cover is a fluke or if he really has what it takes to shape the aesthetic of US Vogue going forward...

Overall, a solid B+ (which is miraculous compared to last month's mess of a cover).

Decent cover and editorial, Lorde fits well here and it works, but it is also very bland.
Pretty and inoffensive, but I have no idea why everyone is raving over something so standard.
What I love is the simple approach, but I don't like the lack of photographer's style. You could've written by Zoe Ghertner, Jamie Hawkesworth, Tyler Mitchell, Colin Dodgson, Drew Vickers, Theo Wenner and so on and I would have believed it, because they are all so indistinguishable.

I find her music and bottom half of her face (sorry ) really annoying, but yeah from the neck down it’s a nice cover.. now imagine the number Bella wore in Cannes, with Bella, similar composition.. a missed opportunity.
