Free Ke$ha poster inside? LOL, it's not bad cover to be honest, but ke$ha.. I don't know..

The "Free Ke$ha Poster Inside!" teaser is cynical and poking fun at Americana, is it not?

When I saw the title for the thread I could not help myself but to laugh for some minutes. The cover is not bad, but they could have chosen someone more appropriate to represent America. What has this woman done for the States to be proud of? Autotune her voice to death on her single hit about partying? I don't even know what to think about V these days.

To be honest, I like the cover and main editorial but I just can't help wondering why her... :ninja:

She has a new album coming out, I think.

Is anybody else so tired of this "Americana" theme that's been overused by so many magazines for the past few years? It's such a boring theme to see for the 500th time.

The cover image is my least favorite from her photos, but it's still a somewhat striking image and not a bad cover overall.

I'm not a fan of Ke Dollar-Sign Ha (free cookies if you get the reference!), but I don't think she's inappropriate for the cover. She's from Tennessee (I think? Anyway, if she is, that's very "Americana") and her sudden rise to fame topping the charts of popular American music, invading the pop culture scene, etc..... it all makes her seem kind of a fitting choice. Besides, it's not as though she's overused on fashion magazines. Truth be told, even though I think her music is downright atrocious, I wouldn't mind reading about her.

here is what the free kesha poster looks like:

Kesha really has no relevance anymore. She had ehr fifteen minutes. I don't understand what is going on with V lately and their crappy cover choices. I always am excited to see their covers, but Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, and now Kesha?!!? It's like they're trying to get me to cancel my subscription. Having Kesha representing American culture is like a huge slap in the face, as if we want someone who probably has someone sewing used soup cans into a dress to represent America.

This sealed the deal for me. V is officially done.

Yet, another tacky editorial (Carolin Murphy's) with a cover star that has no relevance (Striking cover? Yes. Good? No.) with a theme that couldn't be more tired. Americana with American flag, original.

The poster would've made for a better cover, though I thought Ke$ha was already pretty much over and done with. Is she coming out with anything new?
Who cares, anyways? The theme is incredibly played...flashback to 2010, tbh, only worse. :yuk::ninja::doh::innocent:

oh wow that cover is rough on the eyes. well, at least its not another another gaga cover.

This is bad! Really bad. The cover is distracting enough. Why do they have to cover her face that much? The American flag is too much, what more the whole face covered with it? So glad that the editorial saves the tragic cover. The editorial looks kinda decent, very I&V.

What`s happening to V. From top models, to superstars to.. I can`t even....

Was expecting the cover to be awful but it's not bad and the editorial is pretty cool as well.
