Is this I&V first Valentino campaign since the campaign for the last collection of Mr Valentino?

Not impressed at all! I honestly don't think they've produced a good campaign since Fall 2017. Obviously Valentino improved drastically when MGC left and Pierpaolo could shine in his own right but I think he's getting too complacent and relying on gimmicks. I&V are very stale these days.

I think that Valentino is relying heavily on the hype around the Couture because the RTW and everything else is very « straight to the boutique » ready. There’s no magic and all...It’s very generic.

The art direction is very M/M Paris for Stella McCartney in the late 2000s with Kate and Amber. Only this looks very pretentious.

I don't hate this, but it's quite weird and unimpressive.
