Valentino F/W 2025.26 Paris

Hug your rockstuds, vlogo, supervee, VLTN, demetra, aphrodite… valentino roma, red valentino, miss V… tight tonight, they are not going to come back until this awful man leaves this house with his vulgarities (that awful lilac bodysuit ughr), tasteless maximalism (he’s obsessed with using the harlequin print in the worst manner isn’t it) :furious:
Well Thank God the rockstud, vlogo, VLTN, and why not the Camubutterfly are not coming back 🤣

It’s an Alessandro Michele collection. A bunch of archives pieces styled together.
It’s a broken record at this point.
It’s not good or bad. It’s rather forgettable in a way despite the fact that the quality is there.

All I see is archives clothes styled together parading in red toilets. I don’t even have the time or the mind to think about what’s behind his concept. I bet the show notes are filled with references to philosophy or stuff of that sort.
Oh well…
idk what you people are talking about. This is an improvement. Less styling tricks, cleaner looks. It shows he can do something different but simply don't want to.

The show was badass as usual. Shame the models are always so zombiefied.
So I guess the conceptual part you talked about in his thread was the red toilets?

im curious how long he will last in his tenure? how soon will the public get tired of his signature style

He just gets on my nerves at this point.

Always showing the same things, except they're in different pretentious and faux deep contexts.

He's going to have to tweak his own POV or this is going to be a long tenure.

Curious to see how his era is going to perform in stores.

And the Mighty have fallen… HARD!! This is SO BAD on so many levels. This is NOT legacy of Maestro. Maestro used fiery red, he was very romantic, womenswear was to die for… MGC and PPP did a great job after Maestro left. PPP was a bit weak when MGC left but it was still Valentino. And what is this… new brand that has nothing to do with Valentino. This is Grandpa Couture!!! I don’t see anybody in this. Btw Valentino Paris Store is hauntingly empty. So I don’t belive he will stay too long. This is clownish and not good. God he upsets me! To make Great Valentino into this…

It's so confusing. Everything everywhere all at once - florals, embroidery, feathers, tweed, bows. Styling was already mentioned, but the bigger problem is the lack of editing. I am more and more convinced that he simply doesn't understand how to keep the focus - some of the proportions are ruined by those turtlenecks.

hahaha pretty much! The show is amazing. Altought I genuinely think he cleaned up a bit this time.

The show achieved its seemingly disruptive goal, it created a shift to a new era.
And while there were confusing moments all over, there were some archival references throughout. The need for Valentino as a house to break into the fashion submarkets of accessories beyond rock stud bullsh*t has been an aim for decades now.

No one will like the bags, if they have style or taste. The sunglasses I loved (blue tint, of course) and I liked the point of the show when the soundtrack mellowed. I do not like Alessandro, been tired of his one-trick-pony antics, and this was very much that; because, the bathroom? Stop.

The black evening look at the end was my absolute favorite and the gold multi-tier gown was good.
