Vanity Fair March 2025 : Millie Bobby Brown by Sølve Sundsbø

I like both covers but I particularly like the close-up face version. It might be just digital though. The color scheme is so good on both versions. I also like most of the photographs inside of the issue.

And Vanity Fair has a tradition of doing their own style issues, although we used to see them for September rather than for March.

Bringing forward the Hollywood issue has probably caused them to rearrange their calendar of themes.

I doubt it was for Vogue. Sølve didn't made a cover for Anna if I'm not wrong, and the aesthetic fits better with Vanity Fair.

Even if Solve had shot a cover of Vogue, it doesn’t matter. Vanity Fair typically doesn’t get Vogue’s scraps because it’s… a separate magazine. It’s like wondering if content for Wired was originally produced for Vogue.

Radhika is an actual editor-in-chief, not a global content bullsh*t Vogue position.

Wowza, I love this - and never expected to. Millie Bobby Brown looks fantastic here, perhaps the best I've EVER seen her look! George Cortina, of course, absolutely killing it with the styling. The two covers are gorgeous... didn't know Vanity Fair still had it in them to produce such strong and commanding covers. Massively into this!

I don't think this feels Vogue at all; it's very Vanity Fair and the styling really suits her. She should hire this person for her public appearances.

what’s with the current obsession of pastel background? It’s tacky and cheap, something from the “Kinfolk” kind of style, not the Conde Nast publications.

I think there is an active shift away from RED and Black, which famously is proven to have impact on newsstands and more to Brighter colours which are more created to make you stop scrolling on Social Media apps as they look better on screens.

I remember years ago watching something with Anna in where she said if a Cover doesnt have a Red or a Black or Gold Header (VOGUE/VANITY FAIR) it doesn't sell. But now the shift is much further away to what catches your eye digitally.
