I don’t really understand the concept of Fox news to the Murdoch empire.

They already have Disney who constantly panders to the woke audiences.

Do they want the best of both world?!

Well... no. When Disney purchased the film/tv assets of 21st Century Fox the consolidation included various movie studios and television networks. However, Fox Corp., owned by Murdoch, is independent from Disney, and operates owns Fox TV News. Technically, Disney can't own Fox TV because it already owns one broadcast network (ABC).
