Well from what I've read of several sites she died in her early 50's due to hepatitis.

I'm so glad we have this thread!! I'm thinking of going as Veronica Lake to our halloween party (simply because I LOVE the hair) but am not entirely sure what to wear as an outfit. I don't want to buy anything and there are only two options that are mildly appropriate. Either a. my black vintage one-shouldered grecian style Halston gown or b. a black beaded tattered chiffon backless apron dress by Clements Ribeiro. Either way, I'm not sure how to make them appropriate. Thoughts?

I know but the halston gown isn't really that slinky...thats the issue....harumph. The hair....well I have a hair appt. like a day later (to get colored) so I was thinking I could just bump the appt. up and get my hair styled after....if I can't get the appt. though I won't bother!

She was 4'10" and was a D or DD. Most of her costume designers did a good job. I especially love her wardrobe in I MARRIED A WITCH.
