Versace F/W 2005.06 Milan

It's nice. Nothing new, but very nice  I love the black jacket on Hana.

Some of the daywear actually isn't half bad, that beige coat on Daria is actually kinda nice. Nothing new or revolutionary, but nice.

And as MulletProof said, the sets different:innocent:

I really don't know what everyone expects from Versace...everyone always says it's the same, but I still like it...

i love it!!! it has lost some of the garishness, but the sex appeal is still very much there... i think its a little more sophisticated than what donatella usually puts out... i think she's finally found the perfect balance

well...it's definitely better than last year...and it's better than j.lo...

but it's still not my thing...i'll have a look at the whole thing...but i just find this whole look really out of step with the modern woman's needs and lifestyle...

  well that's true

I like the coat on Gemma and the colour of the dress that Julia is wearing, but other than that this does nothing for me

Milan fashion: Versace's glamourous winter

MILAN (AFP) - Second-skin dresses, plunging necklines and nipped-in waists: the key word for next winter is glamour at Versace, which presented its ready-to-wear collection, along with a few Oscar-ready gowns.

Donatella Versace knows how to attract A-list celebrities: US hip-hop star Missy Elliott and British model-actress Elizabeth Hurley sat front and center, along with designers Miuccia Prada and Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten, who will present their DSquared2 collection on Saturday.

Versace cinched the waists of her outfits as much as possible to create a sharp contrast with the extra-large collars of overcoats and blousons.

Cigarette trousers were cut ultra-slim, while airy cocktail dresses brought to mind the iconic white halter dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in "The Seven-Year Itch".

Sultry siren gowns encrusted with Swarovski crystals -- part of the Atelier haute couture collection no longer shown in Paris due to budget constraints -- hugged the body. White is the color of the season, with acid green and turquoise providing a bit of punch.

Milan fashion week continues Friday with shows from Roberto Cavalli, Trussardi and Gianfranco Ferre. Dolce and Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo and Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti take center stage on Saturday.

I personally expect an improvement, or just less vulgarity. I'm utopian like that^_^

Hip-Hip Hooray! I don't see anything vulgur at all, as of yet.

The evening dresses are beautiful. Raquel Zimmerman is flawless

Not bad, not new, I actually like some of the pieces but all in all I'm just a bit tired of this glamourous look, good red carpet dresses among them though!

I like some of it (Gemma's blue coat, Missy's black dress, and some other stuff), but a lot of it seems tacky and just...the same old stuff.
