I mean it's absolutely in the moment... This 1960/1970s brown green yellow colorway/energy is back in full force for SS and Versace has staked itself as like the epicenter of that look...

It is missing mega watt Milanese glamor....

No Irina would look too grown for this collection. But when you see Gigi, Vittoria and Anok, they standout in the sea of teenagers. Even the Lulu girl looks convincing in this context.
Mica, Rianne and others would have been great here but I suspect that some models are maybe exclusive for Paris.

Tbh, the MaxMara cast, without Irina would have worked here.

i think the versace client is a different level of rich. they pay absurd amounts of money to look like hookers... they have that much disposable money. im willing to bet the average versace client is richer than that of diors. They cant even make it look like they are buying investment pieces at versace.

I think you guys are underestimating the social clout Versace has. It's incredibly popular amongst influencers and hip hop culture. And I think especially with men. I'm STILL seeing the baroque print everywhere.

definitely! although oposite is possible but most of dior clients buy their rtw to wear forever. Versace clients will wear it one time and probably spill wine or rip the rtw open from some wild party and throw it and buy a new one the next day.

If the prints weren't so depressing, this would be a great collection. A weird start, but solid after that. Something about this oddly reminds me of Prada in its glory days.

Like the gold in Anok, Vittoria and Mona's look. Needed to be paired with a deep, deep red though because it seems a bit wasted here.

The bowling squared bag copied from Miu Miu Arcadie is already available for preorder on the Versace website and ready to be shipped in two weeks. They are clearly going to push it in the next few weeks and month. 1100 euro against 2300 for the Miu Miu one. It's sad to see Versace so shamelessly looking for easy bucks by copying viral products from successful brands.

I love it. It’s not a blockbuster collection but some nice, straightforward clothing.

Donatella needed a better, stronger cast and sleeker, less busy set for the show.

The styling is demure but the collection is very much Versace. Those bralettes, the sheer cardigans, baby doll dress split down the middle to the chest can be sexy with leather shorts underneath, or matching bottoms featured in the show with a sexy heel. Very South beach.

Which reminds me of a convo had with an SA in April or so that told me they wanted to move the image less Miami and south beach but are struggling with sales so some stores have had to put the louder merchandise back out on the floor because that’s what the people want

In regards to bags, no one is looking to Versace to buy a bag in the first place. I only see people mostly with the La Medusa and that’s it. Their bags and SLGs are a non factor
