Versace S/S 2026 Milan

The presentation of first look ruined everything I guess. There were no official live viewing for the show, and most of people are watching the show by just videos that some random guests shot. The model was walking down the stairs, and all the models including the opening model couldn’t walk down properly… Even the experienced models like Sora had difficulties to walk down. It looked so so so bad, and the opening look was ill fitted and styling was so wrong. With this opening, I couldn’t get any good impressions with this collection.

the proportions are off. she is not a versace gal.

these celeb stunts are hurting mu eyes, i can't!

Is DV on a break? Pull these social strings and get the cool girls and boys to wear that hot mess of a collection. At least, that'll create the illusion that it looked decent.

For once, it's NOT the collection's fault. Lorde is just not that girl. She needs to be in Proenza Schouler, not Versace.

google is free still .....think again who to blame :-)

If the most unsexy brand like Tom Brown can make the her look like this then Versace by Dario has no excuse.

This coming from a fan of neither 3 mentioned

fair point. but do you think they were going for sexy? i don't follow her so i have no clue what her identity/image is based upon, but sexiness doesn't come to mind. she is serving silverfish in that TB look, not sultry siren–to me at least.

she looks awfully medieval in that versace look. that spool of wire top doesn't go together with THAT skirt.

I mean you guys are charitable.

Versace can only get their clothes on the back of a nobody. This is the biggest pop act they can get

Thom Browne is an unserious brand so that tracks.

Sorry but Lorde looks awful in that too. The noodle posture, the graveyard face. I can't. That Versace look is one of the less offensive ones from the collection and she still looked awkward and cold.

It's clear the Vitale guy is obsessed with 80's gay iconography, the mustache hunky guy image looking like it's coming straight from a safe for working segment of Colt magazine / TitanMen website. That guy could be mistaken for David Anthony's son (search at your own risk lol).
The main point most people from the fashion pack / people praising the current creative direction are missing is that Versace made its breakthrough as an cultural icon / symbol exclusively thanks to the 90's: the supermodels, the drama, the over the top glamour, the tackiness and opulency. Of course the 80's collection Versace helped the brand gain popularity and relevancy in the fashion conversation but no way it would have turned in a fashion / culture powerhouse it is without the collections from the 90's.
Versace to the average customers (the ones actually spending) is Linda Evangelista in a fluo colored vinyl minidress and Naomi Campbell in a leopard studded leather jacket, not this watered down version of Versace Jeans Couture and Istante by Gianni Versace.

I agree the references feel out of step. Tom-of-Finland belongs to a specific historical moment. For a new generation raised with mainstream acceptance and early relationships, that lifestyle doesnt resonate. The cultural fact is integration and Dario needs to quickly update his codes before he becomes a relic from another time…I think overt sexuality is quite tired at this point.

Dario is just from the old school. Like Im sure he likes Lady Gaga and Katy Perry and puts horns on his head ironically. He prob thought this collection was a moment. I mean Im sure 40 year olds with Gianni Versace nostalgia love it. As Karl said though - everyone wants to dress 25.
