Another beautiful, anonymous and dull collection. I love the sweater dress. The styling is very Sunnei and the clothes are very chic...
Are those clothes able to help her be profitable after a decade in the business? I don’t think so...

Victoria was that fashion icon who started her brand. The whole concept of that is her persona...Not necessarly all the efforts she made to be taken seriously. People will wear Victoria Beckham if the clothes represents what they expect from her. And I must say that she must switch her brand into a contemporary brand instead of luxury. Not all the items are produced in UK in both lines...

VB doesn’t have the kind of brand recognition to charge 1200£ for a jacket. I’m sorry.

I enjoyed it! All for those first few all-black looks in the opening section, then the introduction of the plaids and the belts add that little extra for a few looks. Every last thing is wearable, not ridiculously OTT (unlike most others during LFW).

I was genuinely a fan of Victoria Beckham when the line revolved around those fabulous fitted dresses because not many designers did them well back when she started. Of course the times have evolved, and she was always going to evolve as a designer, but I'm sure there could've been a path to go down that didn't lose the DNA of her brand that was established during the first few years. This is so nameless that I wouldn't be able to tell that it's a Beckham collection if you showed me just the photos, and it makes me sad.

It is like she is seeing them for the first time.
Why does she insist on being a "designer" .

The collection is styled well.nice casting but I can’t help but echo that her brand lacks identity now.

For me, it feels disingenuous. I’d rather she start referencing herself from the early 2000s and go the contemporary price point route.

Give me some little slip dress numbers, Cargos, obviously updated for what fashion is today but I just find her so unconvincing. Her youtube channel doesn't help either. She is boring.

I know this brand is just a vanity project but I can't get over the styling for this show, Joe McKenna knows the way to my heart. Loved Hyun Ji Shin's look and the one with the plaid shirt, a bright red skirt and matching boots.

Victoria would make a lot more money from both her fashion and beauty lines if only she dropped her prices, along with her pretensions, and moved towards the Michael Kors model, rather than thinking of Tom Ford. She wouldn't be able to think of herself as a rarefied designer anymore - but the profits would leave no-one in doubt about her business acumen.

Exactly! The prices of her VVB line should be the prices of the mainline. Her brand already has a high reputation. Instead of doing weird collabs (Reebok), she should push her clothes.

I actually think it looks quite nice, though unremarkable, if that makes sense. The clothes look easy and not nonsensical, which is refreshing. i just don't know if it warrants her price tag or an event at LFW.
