i remember being 15 and going to guatemala to visit g-ma
i was at a fair playing street fighter II, but it was hacked and on speed. ryu would shoot 4 fireballs at a time and when Ken would do his dragon punch it would go all the way up, come back from the bottom of the screen and hit his opponent in the sole of their feet.

needless to say i owned everyone. but i always quite good at that game, i had a knack for fighting games, and have yet to find a game i could not beat.

speaking of SF. Obligatory.

Back on topic: I have never been good with 2d fighting games, I think it has something to do, with the fact that the control pad of Playstation it´s not the most friendly with your left thumb . That´s why most of the fighting games I have are 3d, still have KOF 99 and Capcov vs SNK for PSone B).

I'm embarassed to say this, but this whole conversation has just gone staight over my head. I've never heard of any Tekken. Where are my Assassins Creed buddies when I need them?

So I posted this on the Etc, Etc thread, and I guess I might as well post them here:

I think they should set the third Assassins Creed in the Industrial Revolution. You can start of the game in Europe and Migrate to America, the Templars could be Meat-Packing Bosses, and you could use skyscrapers and the smokestacks on factories as the viewpoints. Just a thought.

yes, i like guate, but i can't stay there for long. i always seem to get sick after 2 or 3 weeks of exposure... my sister gets a rash in her body after a couple of days. not sure, what it is.

and no, that wasn't me.
i'm good, but i'm not that good. i never competed tournament wise.

i'm 25 and still play videos games.
i was home for the holidays.
and my mum kept bugging me that i still play.
she kept telling me i'm too old for it.
i'll probably stop once i'm 30, married with kids. but until then...

nah, it's just that each time i'm playing with my friends online (they are all a bit older then me)
you can hear their wives complaining in the background.

it makes me all giddy and happy.
even when im playing halo3 on my brothers xbox, under his name.
sometimes i get the mic just because its fun.
and theyre always so surprised when they realize im a girl and i do really good

they always end up adding my brother to their friends lists

^I know! Guys go nuts over girls that play video games. I think my ex only dated me because I wanted to play XBox 360 with him all the time, he kept saying I was the woman of his dreams because I was better than all our male friends at Gears of War and Halo.

And about adult guys still playing video games: I wonder what statistics have say to this, because I'm sure at least 99% of all guys between 10 and 40 y.o. play video or computer games It's cool though and I hate women that keep complaining about their guys spending too much time gaming.

ahhhh, first time on this thread; i didn't even know it existed!!

ok so...i'm kind of obsessed with...animal crossing city folk. yes i know so hardcore.

but these are my all-time favorites:

-final fantasy crystal chronicles
-the legend of zelda: twilight and windwaker (beat it twice) and all the old--school ones from nintendo 64
-harvest moon
